Hello AIM Family,
March is here and somehow Spring Break (March 23–27) is already around the corner! This time of year moves quickly, filled with milestones, performances, decisions, and meaningful moments of growth. It’s also a reminder of just how fast the school year unfolds.
At the end of February, our school community gathered for the Black History Month production, “All Things Are Interrelated.” The production invited reflection on history, identity, and the powerful truth that our stories are deeply connected. It was a meaningful expression of the creativity and thoughtfulness our students continue to bring into shared spaces. Kudos to all involved!
We are also preparing for our annual production of For the Culture on April 3–4 — a celebration of student voice, artistry, and collaboration that reflects the heart of our creative community. We hope you will join us.
AIM Studio is back in full swing this semester, with returning favorites like Guitars Over Guns, Hair In Motion, AIM Players, and AIM Voices, alongside new Semester 2 offerings including Fresh Films, The Crochet Circle, and Comics & Cartooning. It’s energizing to see students exploring new interests, deepening their talents, and building community through creative expression after the school day ends.
Our AIM students continue to engage in strong career-connected learning. They recently visited the global creative network and advertising agency Ogilvy to explore creative pathways, and we look forward to welcoming Pensole Lewis College of Business & Design for a hands-on career planning workshop. Meanwhile, seniors are navigating college applications and decisions — an exciting and sometimes stressful season as they prepare for what’s next.
As we enter re-enrollment and begin welcoming new students for the 2026–2027 school year, we are excited to continue building a community of young people who are curious, creative, and committed to growing — artistically, academically, and personally. The pace of it all is a clear reminder: time moves quickly, and each. moment. matters.
Behind the scenes, we continue strengthening partnerships that expand access, bring additional resources to our students, and deepen opportunity across the AIM community. This work is steady and intentional, rooted in a simple goal: ensuring our students are supported, prepared, and exposed to what is possible.
Even amid the broader societal noise around us, AIM continues to hum — grounded in purpose, creative in spirit, and committed to nurturing the whole child. Thank you for walking alongside us in this work.
As Spring Break approaches, we wish your family moments of rest and renewal.
With deep appreciation,
Kara Bickhem May
