School breakfast has many benefits including helping students stay full and focused on their learning and saving families time in the morning to accommodate busy schedules! MyPlate offers balanced meals that include fruits, vegetables, grains, protein and milk.

How can families help their children eat a healthy breakfast?

  • Read the menu with your child to make sure your student knows about all the foods that are included in their school breakfast
  •  Find out how your parent organization can work with school nutrition professionals to promote breakfast options at your school, such as Breakfast in the Classroom.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
