ACTION ITEM: REGISTRATION FOR 2022-2023 School Year
Art In Motion Re-Enrollment is now open for the 2022-23 school year. Re-Enrollment must be completed through the new account set up for you in AIM's new SchoolMint registration system. Please read the attached instructions to state your student's Intent to Return and complete the Re-Enrollment process.
Also included in the letter is an exciting opportunity to be part of Art In Motion's group going to Common's concert @ Ravinia on Saturday, June 18! All families who complete the re-enrollment process by June 8 will be entered into a raffle to receive two free tickets and free bus transportation.

End of Year Key Dates:
- June 8, 2022 - Last Day to submit work to teachers
- June 10, 2022- Middle School Field Day (Must be On-Track to Participate)
- June 11, 2022 - 8th Grade Graduation - 1pm
- June 13, 2022- Last Day of Quarter 4 - High School Field Day (Must be On-Track)
- June 14, 2022 - Report Cards & High School Award Night
- June 15, 2022 - Last Day of School - 1pm Dismissal
Student Technology must be turned in for promotion to next grade level or payment made to office for lost or damaged devices
High School Updates
Finishing the School Year Strong! We are proud of all of our students that have been working hard to pass each of their courses. Students are required to pass each course with a 70% or better. Students with below a 70% in one or more courses are required to attend Summer Learning. Each course is required to graduate and earn enough credits.

Arts Update
Fall 2022 Artist Interviews!
- EVERY returning and incoming 9th, 10th and 11th graders are required to turn in an artist interview video by July 1st or schedule an in person interview for the week of August 15th.
- This artist interview will determine their arts classes for next year!
- Information was shared during arts classes this week and students have the opportunity to start preparing before the last day of school.

AIM ARTS GALLERY has been shifted to a virtual gallery to be released after school ends so that everyone can enjoy our students' Art!
Semester 1 Incompletes & Credit Recovery: Students who did not pass one or more Semester 1 courses with a 70% or higher received a Summer Learning Registration Letter with Q4 Progress Reports.
- Summer Learning is required for any student with one or more incompletes, including arts courses from semester 1 or semester 2.
- Each course is required to graduate and earn enough credits.
- The initial deadline for Semester 1 make-up work was 4/17. Students who did not meet this deadline can still reach out to their teachers or mentor to create a plan to make-up missing work.
Summer Learning - Credit Recovery Details
- June 21st - July 29th, 2022
- Classes will meet in-person Monday-Thursday from 9:00am - 12:00pm
- Art in Motion East End Campus for ALL Students
- There are no classes on July 4th - 8th
- Although the summer learning is only half-day, students will also need to complete work outside of class time and on Fridays.
